Proeves has come up with a Week-2 Homeschooling calendar for all the moms who are looking to home-school their child during the covid-crisis.

Monday Activity: 

A quick introduction  the planets in our solar system.

There are eight planets in the Solar System which orbit around the sun. Let your kids know all the names of the planets in our solar system.

Tuesday Activity: 

Show them picture cards to describe the colours of the planets. Ask your child to observe the size and colours of each planet. Colour has also been known to affect their moods and behaviour of kids.

Wednesday activity: 

Teach children the planets of our solar system starting with the planet closest to the sun, Mercury. It is best to teach children the planets in order because it will help them memorise better just like starting with A when teaching the alphabet.

Thursday activity: 

Young children can learn about the solar system more easily when you provide them with an easy DIY craft activity. Help your children cut out the planets, colour them, and arrange them in order. 

Friday activity: 

Show your child a song on ‘Planet song’ on YouTube. Music is a great way to make them memorise while having fun at the same time.
