Top preschools nurture the special bond of love this Rakhi

Raksha Bandhan is one of the most endearing ways to celebrate the bond between brothers and sisters. ‘Raksha’ means protection and ‘Bandhan’, to tie.

The festival is thought that the celebration originated from the Hindu story about Indra, king of the lesser gods. The god Vishu gave Indra’s wife a thread to tie on Indra’s right wrist in order to protect him from the demon king Bali.

Let’s have a look on how leading Preschools & Daycares celebrated this sacred festival of bond & protection:

At Ipsaa, they share the bond of IPSAA siblings and share the joy of love. The celebration of relations and people who make us feel protected and safe. The auspicious thread is tied with a promise to take care of each other.

Relationships are a vital part of our lives. The moments we spend in the company of those dear to us become invaluable experiences and stay in our hearts as cherished memories. One of the most important and beautiful of relationships is that between siblings, especially between brother and sister. As love knows no bounds, we teach our children at Aptech Montana International Preschool, as to how they can support, encourage, protect and stand by each other. This Raksha Bandhan, our children would pledge to tie a ‘rakhi’ to a tree in order to ‘protect it’. Cultural rituals, are a part of the celebrations for that day.

Raksha Bandhan & Independence Day this year will be celebrated on the same day on 15th August all over India.  We at Eager Beaver are going to celebrate the event of Raksha Bandhan in school by making tri-colour rakhis. The image of the same is shown below-

Preschoolers at The Learning Curve, enthusiastically participate in Thali decoration, DIY rakhi making activities. This preschool chain tries to make the celebration eventful by spreading the social message of universal brotherhood & human love. Sharing, bonding, love & respect make an integral part of teachings at The Learning Curve. Their belief is in imbibing these values at early age & contribute to future generations.

MINDSEED will make it a meaningful Rakhi celebration for children by establishing a bond of love between them and nature. They will tie a big rakhi to a tree near their school and promise to protect the environment and take care of Mother Nature! The event will be packed with activities like storytelling, rakhi-making, and a lot of fun. The children will be making bright and colorful Rakhis for their siblings and will also celebrate in school with their friends.
