Lubna Jahangir Ali fell in love with cloth diapers and started Little Bums to make moms more aware of how wonderful they are in comparison to disposable diapers.
What does Bold means to you?
According to me Bold is the feeling to do whatever my heart says. We need to be bold to change the world for making it a better place to live in and teach our kids to stand up for what they believe in. Then to prove myself that I can face the world with confidence, with the support of my family which always helped me in managing my house and my work. I faced each difficult situation with confidence during my journey till now.
What change in lifestyle /thinking/society does your brand stands for?
My brand “Little Bums” is related to babies diapers which are made of cloth which is chemical free, environment friendly and baby skin friendly. Overall very good for babies as they don’t cause any kind of harm to baby’s soft skin and are yes pocket friendly too. Cloth Diapers are the boon to our society. Though not very popular but gradually these diapers are gaining moms attention and each mom who is loving them.
Why and When did you started Little Bums?
In 2015 when my baby was 6 months old I came to know about cloth diapers in a Facebook group. Then I read about it on Internet and discussed with other mommies and came to know about it more clearly. I started my stash with 2 pieces of diapers. Both me and my baby loved the cloth diapers. Gradually my stash started increasing. I was so satisfied and happy with them that I wanted other moms to know about them in my circle. Then in July 2015 my husband also started supporting me and motivated me to start it as a business. As I was a SAHM, he was not sure that I will be able to do. I was also not sure about myself. But hubby gave me confidence and finally I started on July 21, 2015. It’s been 1 year and 7 months and throughout the journey husband was the biggest strength and motivation for me.
What are some obvious and not so obvious benefits of choosing cloth diapers?
There are more obvious reasons to choose cloth diapers. Few of them I am listing below-

What is your USP?
When I planned to start Little Bums the very first point was the quality which I have to chose. There are several qualities available but I chose the best I can offer within my budget. As Little Bums is a baby’s product so I can’t compromise with the quality. I only keep the branded stuff which are best for a baby. Moreover, I try and give 100% knowledge to the customer and patiently sort out their queries related to cloth diapering. I never try to earn money. And rather believe in giving the best I can.
