This Women Entrepreneur Created a Dedicated and Loving Team and Pursued Her Passion in Early Education

Education is our passport to the future, for tomorrow belongs to the
people who prepare for it today.

The first five years of life are critical for social-emotional and cognitive development. Because the brain is far more sensitive and malleable to learning experiences and stimuli from the environment, this is a vital age for developing the network of neural connections required to live a physically and intellectually healthy life.

Because of this early plasticity, what is done or not done in early life can have a long-term impact on human capital creation, health, and behaviour?

Childcare and preschool centres are associated locations where safety nets may be deployed, consolidated, and strengthened. This is especially crucial for families in low-income areas, such as those who are displaced or migratory, indigenous peoples, Afro-descendants, and children with impairments who require special schooling or services. Previous Ebola outbreaks in West Africa have had severe consequences on learning and school retention, as well as health and nutrition and sexual assault. Parents, caregivers, and instructors may experience stress, worry, and uncertainty as a result of prolonged closures.

The COVID-19 epidemic has created a complex and unpredictably dangerous situation. The country’s governments and educational institutions have worked hard to build policies that would allow distant care services to continue. However, poor access to digital resources and connection, as well as the restrictions of learning at home — which are more obvious in more vulnerable families — render these efforts ineffective and potentially contribute to a rise in socioeconomic and gender disparities.

As a result, it’s critical to keep working together to find methods that will allow child care and preschool facilities to reopen safely, even if the situation is flawed and vaccinations for the coronavirus aren’t available. Prolonged closure is an expensive option for everyone in the short and long run.

The Preschool we’re talking about today is highly regarded not only by parents, but also by the peer community, as one of the pioneers in the development of character, mental strength, and physical fitness. We had a small chat with Ms Shivani from Crystal in Gurgaon, and we stand resolute that they are indeed one of the pioneers that are best suited for our kids and upcoming generations.

1. Tell us about your journey. How and when did you start your brand & what has been the inspiration?

I’ve been working in the sector of early childhood settings for almost 15 years. As Crystal’s Centre Incharge, I was part of a team that was in charge of making collaborative decisions for higher educational outcomes.

It was the aim of creating a great, supportive, and warm early childhood environment that served as the motivation. The fact that parents were looking for a school with enough room to provide fresh air and a full-sized playground rather than a small one added fuel to our fire.

We have always believed and achieved providing a home away from home experience to all of our kids because we recognise the importance of proper child development and sculpting. We treat them as if they were our own children.

2. What is unique about your brand?

  • Large Play Lawn: This is one of the most important aspects, as the child must have adequate area to play and indulge in physical activities
  • High safety standards
  • Good infrastructure
  • Extended working hours- 8am-7.30pm
  • Infant Care – 2months-15months
  • Evening Activity Club-Run by Professionals
  • All Vaccinated Staffs.

3. Tell us about the team.

The dedicated and loving team, I am blessed with-

A highly intellectual and dedicated peer force who are not only highly educated but are also the best for these services.
Preschool Coordinator- Ms Anuradha, part of Crystal Family for 12 years.
Admission Outreach- Ms Noopur, associated with Crystal for 9 years
Admin & Billing Support- Mr Kuldeep Rawat, joined when Crystal was in its teething stage.

Would like to extend sincere gratitude to all the attendants and supporting staff also, without whom this journey would have been incomplete.

4. Any message to the Working Parents?

During this pandemic, working parents have adapted their households and juggled work, children’s schooling and other household needs. They are among the unsung heroes of this crisis.
But now, with things settling, they should move back to work trusting their chosen childcare provider.
All Good wishes to them!

5. What are the plans for centre this year?

To keep serving society as always, in meeting their child care requirement. And we successfully build the right pace for children depending on their individual needs and areas to focus open, so they can have a bright and focused future.
