Vase from Bottle

What waste you need:

  • Glass or plastic bottle
  • Paint
  • Paintbrush
  • Masking tape (optional)

What to do out of these:

  1. Wash the bottle to clean it and remove the label.
  2. Paint the bottle in a color of your choice.
  3. You can also use masking tape to make patterns on the bottles.
  4. Before painting, use the tape to make the design you want.
  5. When you remove the tape after spray painting the bottle, that part will still be transparent and will look lovely.

Paper Cone Hat with Newspaper

This is the easiest newspaper hat design.

What do you need:

  • Half sheet of an old newspaper
  • Some colours
  • Tape

How to make it:

  1. Place the piece of paper on a flat surface
  2. Take the top right corner of the paper and bring it across to the left hand side. You can either fold the paper or not. If you fold there will be a crease in your hat and won’t have that perfect conical shape.
  3. Tape the inside of the cone you’ve just created.A single piece of tape at the edge of the cone will suffice, but you can choose to take the entire part where the two edges meet.
  4. Cut the excess paper. After taping the edges together, you’ll have a triangle piece left over. Cut it off.
  5. Decorate it with colors, stickers, etc the way you want it.
