Q1.Tell us more about the event and what all is planned for the kids ?
The event at cyberhub is on 23rd and 24th of December. From 4.00-6.00
We will be performing the ‘Birth of Christ play’ at the cyber hub amphitheater on 23rd followed by Santa’s grand arrival. He will be giving away sweets too. On 24th, we will be narrating the story of nativity in an interactive manner followed by art and craft with take home activities.
Q2. Can children really learn life skills through mythology plays and story?
Children absorb a lot from mythological stories. The simple reason here is that they identify themselves with various characters. Hence it’s easier for them to absorb the virtues and discipline exhibited in the plays.
Q3. Xmas is such a joyous festival will there be fun in addition to story telling ? How?
Christmas is all about fun.. Yes! Santa and his team always are surely a lot of fun with a number of peppy songs and carols. However, Christmas is also about the spirit of giving which will be displayed beautifully in the event.
Q4. What are the 3 things parents should talk about/tell their kids with respect to Xmas ?
Parents should emphasis on the following as Christmas gets closer:
Spirit of giving – Give, give, give!! It will only make your heart bigger and it will then have place for more souls rather than just one or two family members. This is a sign of the son of God.
Forgive: we all make mistakes! Try and try to let go. It will make you more peaceful and joyous.
Celebrate: celebrate every minute of life like children can and children do. Decorate the Christmas tree, bake cakes, get cosy with family and sip on hot chocolate and soak in everything the Lord has given. It’s so so much. Be thankful
