Paper Towel Butterflies:

Age : Suitable for kids of 3 to 6 years

You need: Plain white paper towels, food coloring, and pipe cleaners.

Steps:

Mix different food colors with water in separate bowls.
Fold your paper towel in half, in half again. Likewise, do four-folds.
Dip each corner of the folded paper towel into the colored water of your child’s choice.
let the excess water drip back into the bowls, then slowly open up the paper towel and lay flat to dry.
Gather along the center of each paper towel, wrap a pipe cleaner around the center, twist it off.
Even out the wings, flatten the body, and then curl the antenna’s.

Paper Bowl Jellyfish:

Age: Suitable for kids of 3 to 6 years

You need: Paper bowl, Tissue paper, crepe paper or plastic bags, colors, scissors, glue, pencil, string, paperclip

Steps:

Punch a small hole at the center of a paper bowl using the point of a pencil.
Paint the outside of the paper bowl with tempera or poster paint.
You can use a paintbrush, your fingers, or a cotton swab to paint them on your paper bowl.
Cut string to a length of about 10 inches. Tie one end of the string to a paper clip or button.
Insert the free end of the string from inside the paper bowl, the paper clip or button serves as a stopper.
Cut eight or more long strips out of crepe paper, tissue paper or plastic bags.
Glue one end of a tentacle on the inside the paper bowl.
Once the glue dries, your jellyfish is ready to be hanged/decorated.
