Q1What do you suggest moms to pass through the settling with ease and trust?

At Mini Marvel, we ask parents to brief us on the child’s routine, feeding and nap time schedules, so the child is comfortable in his or her routine and enjoys the play time more engagingly. We extend personalize care for each infant based on his or her unique schedule, nutritional guidelines, and any other special attention he/she requires.

Q2 – Your views on mothers visiting for feeding to the infant car

We encourage breast feeding for infants. This builds trust and ease for mother and child both. We provide feeding area in our center, which is comfortable for working mothers who can visit their child during office hours for feeding.

Q3What do you focus on for the brain development of infants?

Infant care curriculum is designed in a way that baby’s sensory development takes place in a very comfortable and enjoyable environment. Our experts are the first teachers of a baby; they play a very important role in bonding and bringing emotional stability in child. We encourage the development of language skills in babies. We nurture the curiosity by rhymes and sounds. Touch and feel books, sensory toys are encouraged for exploration of the world around them. They are encouraged to copy actions and initiate interactions. 1: 3 teacher child ratios allow personal attention for every child, and everyday report is shared with parent with all developmental goals.

Q4What tips you want to share with new moms to prepare themselves to resume work soon and make themselves ready to opt for a child care?

A few days before the transition, mother, father or other family members should role play and be with the baby turn by turn for few hours, so that child is not 24 X 7 dependent on mother. Few other tips –

  1. Mother should make sure to follow a routine for nap, feeding and communicate the same to caregivers at the center. This ensures the child is happy and does not feel much difference in these early days.
  2. Immunization record and regular check up with paediatrician should be regular & up to date to keep the child away from infections and build a stronger immunity.
  3. Preparing a day before – organizing all essential things a night before saves moms from last-minute morning rush. This will help mother to be more relaxed and stress free. And we believe this anxiety free atmosphere makes things easier for both mother & child.
  4. Children reflect the emotions of the parents, if the mother and the father are calm and settled so as the child be happy and enjoying the moment every day.
  5. Make sure all items that your child is taking to child care are labelled with your child’s name so that these things do not bother you over and above the comfort and ease.
  6. Plan ahead for the week and arrange all the things your child needs, including bottles, formula, nappies, spare clothes, medicines and medical record. Include comfort like cuddly toys, blankets or books.

Raising children is a joint effort of parents and expert caregivers who understand each other and develops a strong bonding and emotional wellbeing in children right from early years. This very positively influences the cognitive and developmental goals in the growing years of children.
