Prolactin
Prolactin is responsible for milk-production. Prolactin slowly and steadily climbs from conception to delivery. It helps the breasts to get ready to feed the baby. High prolactin is key to being able to breastfeed your baby. However, it can be very troublesome for you mood. When prolactin levels are high, a feel good, motivating, thought-organizing brain chemical—will be lower.
Relaxin
Pregnancy make significant changes in female body. Relaxin is most likely responsible for loosening ligaments that hold the pelvic bones together. This hormones are necessary for relaxing muscles so that the delivery of a baby can happen through natural birth. Since muscles get relaxed and loosen, it can cause pain, inflammation, and clumsy actions in the shoulders, knees, hips and ankles. This pregnancy hormone is the reason for anxiety and stress during pregnancy.
