The vision of vata vriksha is to enforce a holistic development(physical, mental, socio-emotional) in young, blooming minds. We look at overall growth of the child rather than focusing on one aspect.

We are a school focusing on nature-based environment which have facilities like rain water harvesting, a pond with fish, turtle bowls, farm to table concept, composting our waste, using biodegradable materials, upcycled furniture, bamboo and wood-based cooking materials and cutlery, recycling bins, segregation of waste and a full vegetarian kitchen with an experienced chef with a nutrition background.
CURRICULUM
Our curriculum is based the HI LIGHT LEARNING. The HI-Light Programme aims to develop a child?s skills in six key areas ? Aesthetics and Creative Expression, Discovery of the World, Language and Literacy,Motor Skills Development, Numeracy and Social and Emotional Development.Our Curriculum also includes gardening ? which not only includes watering plants but also, for children to understand what are flowering and non-flowering plants, different types of fruits and vegetables, bugs and soil texture, seasons, wind and its importance, bees and butterflies, pollinations, parts of a plant and more importantly to inculcate the responsibility of taking care of the plants they grow, to heck on them every day, to understand how it is dependent on us. We are trying to achieve a farm to table concept where kids can eat the plants that they grow. Our other activities include gross motor skills, fine motor skills, messy play, sand play, hands on activities, science experiments, art and craft, music and movement, circle time, storytelling, show and tell,role play and much more.We have once a month activities like camping, nature walks, excursions and incursions too.We also have a play area with upscaled swings and slides, games like carrom, chess, lagori, palanguli, hopscotch, kancha, spinning top,skipping, hula hoops, hurdles, balance beams, tunnels and balls. We have a snug littler pond with fish the kids can feed and observe as well.
EXTRA CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES
We at vata vriksha offer special classes as enrichment programmes to develop your child's skills and talents. These classes are conducted after school hours every day.
