Answers to frequently asked questions /doubts on the daycare decision for your child

ProEves is the largest aggregator and booking partner of preschool and daycare in India. It is a one stop place that provides information regarding multiple centres - their contact details, features, fast facts. A parent does not have to call different preschool and daycares to get information. Parent can search for preschool or daycare basis their area of preference. While looking at the preschool and daycare centres listed on the portal, parents can request for any of the below details.
  • Mom References – References of moms/parents using the centre
  • Block a Visit - Block a date for appointment /visit to the centre
  • Counsellor Chat – Block a chat with a ProEves admission counselor
  • Register for Fee & Discount - ProEves will share fees and applicable discount (if any) once the request is made
ProEves does not charge any commission to the parents in finding the best preschools or daycare for the child.
Scientifically it is proven that birth to age three are the most important years in a child's brain development. So the sooner the exposure to learning happens, the better it is.

Health and hygiene of your little one is and has always been of utmost priority to us. To support daycares and preschools to reopen post Covid-19, ProEves has prepared standard operating processes that centres must follow as they plan to open, incorporating best practices, guidelines from reputed global and Indian bodies and in consultation with child safety and child care experts. Centres go through the digital training. Centres are required to go through this comprehsnevive e training module, which is followed up with an online quiz and a call with the centre. On successful completion, centres receive a safety first digital badge on the listing. The training has the following sections -

  • Social Distancing Protocol
  • Centre Cleanliness & Hygiene
  • Meals & Kitchen Hygiene
  • Cleaning and Caring for the Child Creating
  • Quarantine Plan
The following factors are considered while finalizing a preschool:
  • Distance for the child to travel
  • Indoor and Outdoor Infrastructure - Child friendly infrastructure, spacious and ventilated room
  • Qualified teachers on early childhood education and care
  • Teaching methodology/ curriculum
  • Centre fees and parent budget
  • Program and curriculum
  • Daycare environment and infrastructure
  • CCTV surveillance
  • Adult child ratio
  • Facilities such as healthy meals
  • Emergency numbers/ on call doctor
Different preschools follow different curriculum. It is important that the preschool focuses on multiple skill development. The curriculum should focus on language development, gross motor and fine motor skill development, physical, social and emotional development. It should encourage creativity and expression in the child and focus on cognitive development through introduction to various concepts, numeracy skills that builds logical development
This program is extended to employees with children from 4 months to 6 years for maximum of 2 children. The process of declaration and confirmation and payment submission for each child would be treated as an independent request

Yes, Proeves has a wide network of 7000 daycares across India listed and screened on their portal. However, if your daycare isn’t listed you can initiate the onboarding process by requesting the same on the Proeves childcare portal which will take 2-3 weeks and you need to provision for the time to follow the process in availing this benefit. Proeves counsellor will onboard your daycare post screening them as per the set daycare guidelines. We will request Employees to do their checks and validations, to ensure listed and onboarded centres are of good quality and safe nature with relevant staff policies

Please note: this benefit can be used only for recognised daycare center, not a nanny or other similar incidental expense for taking care of the child / children at home/ elsewhere. If the onboarded centre has challenges in the defined process through the year, Proeves and HR team has the right to delist the centre as the centre needs to follow corporate defined invoicing and payment terms.

Refer clause 3.c of the policy for entitlement details. Excluded Cost include: Cost of food / consumables / transportation / curriculum books/annual fees/pick and drop and any other optional services fees etc. if any, shall be borne by the employee
The Portal has Daycare Tutorial and FAQs to know everything about daycare selection and admission process. The portal also has parenting resources for overall Daycare support and has a tab to raise Requests/Query. Employees are requested to go through the tutorial, so that you can make the right daycare decision for your child and keep the daycare processes in checks.
The process to avail the benefit is detailed in the Creche Benefit Program/Policy document. It is important that post browsing the daycare provider details on the portal, you visit the daycare provider and thoroughly check it to your satisfaction. It is completely your decision to enroll your child, follow the steps detailed in the portal , submit the forms It is very important you submit the signed Declaration form - soft copies to be uploaded on the portal for further action by ProEves. Please provision for 15-20 days to select the right daycare for your child, as this selection is an important decision.
On completion of the admission process, and submission of declaration form, post validation from proeves team on invoices/receipts and required approvals, hcl will initiate the payout of the daycare fee through the reimbursement process as part of payroll. Any other additional charges in excess of the above-mentioned amount and Tax liability are to be borne by you. Every month Proeves team will check with parents and daycares on their service continuation, and the parents will need to submit monthly invoices for claiming the reimbursement.
Yes, you will still have to follow the process, starting with the signed Declaration, upload on the portal so that Proeves can validate and confirm the admission to the HR team. Please raise your grievance and issue on the portal and ProEves counsellors will give you a call back in 24- 48 hours. In case of queries marked as urgent, ProEves will call you within 12 hours or you can reach them on the emailid provided on the Portal. ProEves will work with you to help you address the grievance and issue with the centre.
The Exit process would be similar as detailed in the Program document . Employees would need to raise the exit request, fill the exit form and upload. Post which the active child registration would be closed. It’s prudent to raise the Exit request atleast 4 weeks in advance. Payment, notice period and refund terms of the centre will apply.
