Helping your child learn their alphabet can seem like a daunting task. Where do you start? Should you go in order? Our advice? Keep it FUN!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Children learn through play, exploration, reading, and observation. Learning the alphabet doesn\u2019t have to mean memorising flashcards or doing endless worksheets. There are many hands-on ways for children to learn their alphabet.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This\u00a0printable letter A crafts for toddlers\u00a0and preschoolers are a part of our \u2018letter of the week’s activity. This letter activities\u00a0work on a child\u2019s fine motor skills, visual perception and hand-eye coordination<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What you\u2019ll need:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

1. Letter A Alligator template<\/a> <\/p>\n\n\n\n

2. Googly eyes<\/p>\n\n\n\n

3. Glue<\/p>\n\n\n\n

4. Green, yellow, and white coloured craft paper<\/p>\n\n\n\n

5. Black marker<\/p>\n\n\n\n

6. Scissors<\/p>\n\n\n\n

How to make your letter A alligator craft:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

1. Print out the Letter A template and cut the letter and teeth out <\/p>\n\n\n\n

2. Trace the letter onto the green paper and cut it out. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

3. Trace the teeth onto white paper and cut it out.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

4. Glue the letter A horizontal on yellow paper.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

5. Glue the teeth to the A so that it looks like the alligator\u2019s mouth is open.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

6. Glue on the googly eyes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

7. Your alligator is ready <\/p>\n\n\n\n
