There are different views from Medical Experts, Paediatricians, Academicians, Social Scientists and Parents. It\u2019s important to explore all perspectives before we end up with any decision.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Karnataka, Maharashtra, and Madhya Pradesh have decided to ban live virtual classes for pre-primary and lower primary students. The decision was taken after the authorities received complaints from parents about the duration of online classes that private schools were conducting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In all the three states, many parents have protested the ban saying that it curtails their freedom to choose the way they want to educate their children. Many educators have also called for better guidelines and have warned that a complete ban on online schooling will result in children missing out on social, psychological, academic and cognitive learning opportunities that are crucial for their age. We reached out to a few leading lead preschool and daycare brands and this is what they had to share:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.proeves.com\/events.php?startDate=&amp;endDate=&amp;cityName=all&amp;areaName=all&amp;dcName=safari+kid\">Safari Kid<\/a><\/strong>: Every day at Safari Kid we are reminded how difficult it is to provide the right educational balance for young children, be it online or at school. How do we make online learning for kids that are truly educational but also fun? How much choice should a child have within the learning framework? Our focus has always been to ensure that a child&#8217;s learning journey continues. Banning child education, was never an option for us.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Our Kido Home-Distance learning has taken all this into consideration where we are revolutionising online learning, creating a completely individualised, engaging, &amp; effective learning experience. Our aim with Kido Home-Distance learning is to provide quality education within the reach of every learner from any part of the world even after the pandemic is over.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.proeves.com\/search\/kara+4+kids\">Kara4Kids<\/a><\/strong>: Online learning ofcourse obliges reliable access to digital devices; however the facilitators need to augment the effects on eyes, mind and behaviour of the young minds. It&#8217;s very important to plan the synchronous classes considering the age group that you are dealing with. Young learners need to be active, thus the intense planning and involvement of various Kinesthetics yet Visual learning activities, including spatial and musical activities becomes imperative. This not just enhances the learning but also the social interaction for these little curious minds. For months now, children have had to bound their social interactions; they cannot go to school or parks. It has been the little social interaction through the online medium that has helped these fledgling minds to cope with the present scenario. Mindful planning can help develop their communication skills and exploration &#8211; this can all lead to a cohesive environment beyond the classrooms. This crisis can be a sincere prospect. It is inevitable that we will need digital technology to re-imagine learning beyond physical schooling. So instead of clamping down totally on online classes for young children, we must consent this booming of experimentation and innovation that will aid the system to learn rapidly and organise that knowledge equally. The virtual world does have its challenges that need to be worked around through planning; we need to work along in this NEW NORMAL world that has become a necessity in today&#8217;s times of Social Distancing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It will be a while before things get back to the old normal.
