Parents look for certain features and look for some\nbehavioral factors that sway their decision towards a center. It is important\nfor a center to be transparent and honest with parents regarding the\ncurriculum, activities and incidents that take place at the center and give\nregular updates to the parent regarding their child. Some ways that the parents\ncan trust the center are if they do the following:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>Provide behavior insights<\/strong> &#8211; Your facility can see children without bias\nand spot behavioral traits that hinder a child\u2019s social and emotional\ndevelopment. Providing this feedback to parents can help them nurture the child\nin the right direction alongside the teacher. <\/li><li><strong>Share Playground Accidents<\/strong> &#8211; Children explore their limits and test\ntheir boundaries which can lead to accidents. Before the parent can ask you\nabout it, make sure to inform the parent through message when the incident\nhappens, or before the child leaves the center with the parent. This creates\nopenness and trust. <\/li><li><strong>Alert parents to new fears <\/strong>&#8211; A sudden change in a child can be a sign of\nsomething larger. Be sure to share new fears and meltdowns with parents. This\nmight provide insights for you too. <\/li><li><strong>Allow time at pick up and drop off for\nfeedback <\/strong>&#8211; There has\nto be two way communications between parents and teachers regarding the child.\nOpen the conversation regularly with parents and caregivers to ensure\nsatisfaction. <\/li><li><strong>Showcase the activities the children enjoy<\/strong> &#8211; Perhaps the best way to create transparency\nis to share and showcase classroom activities. Precious moments of children\nlearning or drawing a picture can help parents feel connected to their child\u2019s\nchildcare experience.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>All of the above can be achieved by being up\nto date in terms of technology at your center. Having a live update app or an\nend of day report that goes out to the parents can create a transparent and\ncredible name for the center which also lets parents trust in them and give\nthem the faith
