Children often get bored with extra time at home but if this can be\nchannelized in a new inspiring way, it can add value to their lives. Keeping\nyour child occupied during the summer holidays is nothing short of a challenge.\nBut Vedic Lore have made things easy for you. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Which is that one place where a child gets\nan opportunity to build social skills, nurture long-lasting friendships, learn\nteamwork, expand her knowledge, get creative and aim at personal development \u2013\nall at once? A well-organised summer camp, of course!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Vedic Lore Is Presenting Summer Camp 2019! A\nComplete Package Of A Range Of Activities To Keep Kids Happy And Busy! The best\nway to keep them away from gadgets and the television is to enroll them in\nsummer camps.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The details for the camp is as follows:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>India Dharshan: <\/strong>Week 1 &#8211; April 1 &#8211; April 5<sup>th<\/sup><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>It is our duty to make our \u00a0younger generation understand the value of Indian heritage. Hence in our first week we have kept activities which are revolving around Folk Art, Folk Dance, No flame cooking Indian Food, Ayurveda for Kids , Herb Gardening and Yoga.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>2. Khelo Khudo: <\/strong>Week 2 &#8211; April 8th &#8211; April 12<sup>th<\/sup><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Now days children spend their time mostly in\nwatching TV, playing video games,etc. Physical activities are almost Nil. This\nis reducing the opportunities for them to develop strength, balance, and\ncoordination. That\u2019s why we have kept 2<sup>nd<\/sup> week for traditional\ngames. Activities for this week has been set to engage the children through\ntraditional games like Lagori, Gili Danda, Hop Scotch, Water games, Kho Kho and\nmany more. Playing games and Being outside has numerous other benefits and can\nstrengthen a child\u2019s immune system. Moreover it is a great way for them to meet\nother kids and make a few friends.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>Panchendriyas (Five Senses)<\/strong>: Week 3 &#8211; April 15th &#8211; April 19th<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Our senses are the way that we explore the\nworld and understand what is going on around us. Teaching your kids about their\nsenses is very important. Activities that stimulate the senses help the brain\nto develop and function at its peak. Hence, Activities for this week has been\nset to engage the children through exploring the 5 senses. Sight (Visual\ncommunication games, drawing, Science activity), Smell (Smell trail games,\nBaking, breathing exercises), Taste (Testing taste games, No flame cooking,\nfood presentation), Hearing (Story Telling, Music , Rhythm and dance), Touch (\nCrafts , origami, good touch\/bad touch ).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>Avishkaar Sports Week<\/strong>: Week 4 &#8211; April 22nd &#8211; April 26th<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>This week is all about kids being active, and\na big part of being active can include kids sports. Playing sports outdoors\nwith a bunch of kids together can improve general social development, in that\nkids will learn to interact with each-other naturally but with sports as the\nmain social anchor of the activity. Additionally, social interaction will improve\nother facets such as leadership, self esteem, and general teamwork through the\nconstruct of the sports games themselves. Activities for this week has been set\nto inculcate the culture of sports &amp; fitness among the children. Team\nsports like Tennis, soccer, Basketball, Hockey, Fun games and Obstacle course\nwill be introduced and lots of activities centered around nature trails, nature\nbased treasure hunts and one exclusive pet day would be introduced. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>Indiography <\/strong>: Week 5 &#8211; April 29th &#8211; May 3rd<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Cultural awareness among kids is a must\nfrom a very young age. Children will not understand the diversity of Indian\nculture until and unless they are exposed to it. For this reason this 5<sup>th<\/sup>\nweek has been&nbsp; set to introduce the\ndifferent states of India, the cultural aspects and the distinctive cultural features\nof each state. Children will be taught India\u2019s diversity and multi culture, Indian\nNational Anthem ( Age group 5+ ). The importance of Indian Army will be taught\nto children through story telling.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>Masti Time<\/strong>: Week 6 &#8211; May 6th &#8211; May 10<sup>th<\/sup><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Summertime is all about fun and frolic. The\nlast week of our summer camp is all about having fun and frolic!! The entire\nweek will revolve around slime making, water play, bouncy castle, balloon\nsculpting, tattoo making &amp; chocolate making.
