In today\u2019s society the majority of parents now work, regardless the\nage of their children. Providing day care in the workplace can have many\nbenefits for companies, including improving employee morale, lowering turnover\nand attracting a wider variety of applicants. Onsite daycare<\/strong> \u2013 An exclusive facility set up in the office premises only for employees. In this kind of an arrangement, the organization partners with a specialized childcare service company. Typically the set up and infrastructure cost is borne by the corporate and the operating partner runs the daycare typically offering concessional rates to employees. Organizations like Hindustan Unilever Limited, Standard Chartered Bank, Axis Bank, AmarchandMangaldas, Godrej, BhartiAirtel etc. have an onsite daycare facility for their employees.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Near-site daycare<\/strong> \u2013 In case an onsite model is not feasible because of space constraints or the absence of a sizeable number of employees who want to use the facility, companies opt for corporate tie-ups with a daycare centre close to the office. Organizations like Adobe and Microsoft have near site centers<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Multiple tie-ups<\/strong> \u2013 In this arrangement, the corporate ties up with multiple\ndaycare centres to provide a range of options to their employees. The tie-up\ncan be with a single partner who runs multiple centres or with multiple\npartners. Flipkart, Cognizant and many IT companies have tie-ups with daycare\ncompanies for their employees.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

In all the above arrangements, the corporates can provide\nvarying degrees of financial support to the employees, e.g. subsidy on fees,\nfull or partial reimbursement against expenses etc.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With companies rushing in to provide cr\u00e8che support to their  employees, having a right daycare partner is\nimportant. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
