Many\npeople dream big & wish of running a successful team or business but few\ndream of running a business with an objective to help others. Growth in\nchildcare industry has opened doors of success for several women struggling\nwith continuing a career post childcare. Women in workforce leads to a stronger\neconomy but issues over childcare hovers over this growth. These women founders\nhave paid attention to the littlest details of a woman\u2018s needs & have built\ntheir daycare brands successfully supporting working women. They have not only\nsupported working women but with all their hard work have also paved way to\nmassive successes of their brands.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sridevi Raghavan, Co-founder \u2013 Amelio Early Education<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sridevi, the cofounder of Amelio is an alumni of\nHarvard Business School (HBS), when she was working as an advertising\nprofessional in Bangalore; she noticed that a number of her senior colleagues\nfound it extremely difficult to manage work and home. She felt unfair that\nwomen have to make a choice between work and family, she wondered whether a\nchildcare centre at or near the work place could actually help working mothers\ncontinue with their careers. That\u2019s how the idea of Amelio came into her mind\nand she started Amelio in 2009 to help other working women.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kanchan Mittal, Co-Founder \u2013 IPSAA<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kanchan started her career as a Chartered accountant in the early 90’s and got married. She lost touch with her friends as everyone got married and busy with their lives. When she was able to connect with her long lost friends and to her dismay, she found out that most of them, even the most brilliant one’s in school had not been able to pursue their careers on account of childcare as there was no external support available. Ipsaa is a Sanskrit word for a wish. It aims to fulfil every woman’s wish to do well in her career, without giving up on her responsibility as a mother and every child’s wish to be in a happy learning environment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hazel Siromoni, Managing Director – Maple Bear<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hazel began her career as a counselor at Canadian\nEducation centre in India which was set up by Government of Canada with the\nmandate to promote and market Canadian Education Internationally. She became\nthe Director of Maple Bear India in 2009 and then the Managing Director under\nthe Joint Venture between Maple Bear Global Schools Ltd and Modi Edutech in\n2011. Maple Bear Canadian Preschool is one of the most successful Preschool\nFranchise in India. It has recently received the Women\u2019s Most Trusted Brand\naward as well.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Nupur Dalal , Co-Founder \u2013 The Little Big World<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

With advanced education and experience in research\nmethodology in US and India, Nupur has a decade long experience in research and\nproduct design. At Little Big World, she has spearheaded our primary research\nacross 5000 working parents from Mumbai, Delhi, Pune and Bangalore that has\nhelped us define Little Big World\u2019s size, layout and operations. A demanding\nmom with twin boys, Nupur supervises our quality control, central operations\nand marketing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kanika Bahl- Co-founder – The Courtyard<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kanika Bahl\ncompleted her Master’s from Lady Irwin College, New Delhi and went on to teach\nat the University of Madras and the University of Mumbai. She also taught\nVisual Art at the SPJ Sadhana School for developmentally challenged children.\nShe is a talented artist and baker and she brings hands-on learning methods to\nthe children at The Courtyard.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Priya Krishnan, Founder- KLAY<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Klay is today one of the best daycare in India,\nproviding parents with all the very best childcare support for their children.\nPriya Krishnan, a working mother herself ran IT Outsourcing firm Mphasis\u2019\nEuropean Business prior to launching KLAY. \nShe experienced the challenges of working full-time and taking care of\nher young children and this led her to found a childcare center which understands\nthis and provides that kind of support where working parents don\u2019t have to\nworry for their children.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Preeta Suri, Founder- Kanchana Paati<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Preeta while working in a corporate & managing family was in search of a quality daycare for her daughter, but she was unable to find something as per her expectation also she found that many of other parents were struggling to find quality daycare for their child. Therefore she decided to cater to the needs of quality daycare and started the venture of Kanchana Paati on August 15th, 2006.It was named as Kanchana Paati\u201d. (Paati in Tamil means grand mom).
