With the increase in the number of nuclear families and working parents, childcare centers have become a saviour. Children gain a lot from going to these childcare centers because they become exposed to a lot of new things there. But, more importantly, they develop social and emotional skills and learn how to get along with other children, to share\u00a0and to\u00a0contribute.This has been possible only with the efforts of these women who are themselves mothers and started childcare centers to help working parents by taking care of their children and making the children feel at home when parents are working. Parents are not only able to work at peace but are excited to pick their happy child from the centre everyday.<\/p>\n

Kanchan Mittal, Founder, Ipsaa <\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n

Kanchan Mittal is a CA and a doting mom to her 2 daughters, who pursued her wish of making childcare available to other working moms.and started Ipsaa.\u00a0In sanskrit Ipsaa means \u2018a wish\u2019. It symbolizes every woman\u2019s wish to do well in her career, without giving up on her responsibility as a mother; and every child\u2019s wish to be in a happy learning environment.<\/p>\n

Sridevi Raghavan, Founder, Amelio <\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n

Sridevi did her MBA from Harvard Business School and graduated in 2008. Earlier that year, she entered the Harvard Business School Business Plan Contest with the idea of Amelio. The venture idea greatly appealed to a few judges, who were also venture capitalists. Armed with funding from PEs, she returned to India to start Amelio. And today Amelio prides itself on being the pioneer of on-site childcare operations in India. It has partnered with several IT majors to set up daycare centres on the premises for the children of employees.<\/p>\n

Swati Jain, Founder, Banyan<\/strong><\/p>\n

India\u2019s Unique child development Centre The Banyan runs as per the convenience of parents providing flexible childcare facilities. The driving force behind the centre is Swati Jain who started The Banyan with the goal of developing a safe, healthy and creative environment for children (6 months\u201310 years) where they can develop, observe and learn, thus making learning a unique experience.<\/p>\n

Bela Kotwani, Founder,\u00a0CosmiKids<\/a> <\/strong><\/p>\n

While surfing the net for some ideas Bela stumbled upon Cosmikids USA, founded by Judy Julin. She and her brother Rakesh Kotwani set up a Skype call and discussed how we can bring Cosmikids to India.Collaborating on her expertise in the preschool industry and Judy\u2019s experience in the child care space they embarked on launching Cosmikids India based on the Resonant Learning Approach (RLA). RLA is a non-judgmental approach to teaching and caring. Everyone is unique and learns at his\/her own pace. So at Cosmikids tries to facilitate the kids to explore and learn the way they are comfortable.<\/p>\n
