How and when did you start The Learning Curve &amp; what has been the inspiration?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>I have been into education sector for last 20 years, and with preschool\/ daycare industry I have spent 12+ years. The Learning Curve was founded with strong foundation from working parents\u2019 perspective like providing food, camera access and international curriculum to parents of young children. We focussed on the concept of full day school supporting parents though their working hours.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What is unique about The Learning Curve?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Being a differentiator in the daycare business was utmost important for The Learning Curve. We, at The Learning Curve believe in providing the working parent complete peace of mind by providing them with <strong>LIVE CAMERA ACCESS<\/strong> which enables them to view their\u00a0child enjoying his day at the daycare. This makes parents less anxious of their child\u2019s safety while they\u00a0are at work.<\/p>\n<p>We\u00a0believe in the happiness of having to <strong>NOT PACK MULTIPLE TIFFIN BOXES<\/strong> for the\u00a0child.\u00a0And hence, every\u00a0child at The Learning Curve is served freshly cooked,\u00a0vegetarian meal on board, cooked at our independent,\u00a0functional kitchens at every\u00a0centre.<\/p>\n<p>At The\u00a0Learning\u00a0Curve, we follow the\u00a0<strong>SINGAPORE CURRICULUM<\/strong> which is a perfect combination of\u00a0Multiple Intelligence as put by Dr. Howard Gardner\u00a0and\u00a0play\u00a0way\u00a0method. We believe that every\u00a0child is born different and grows differently.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Tell us about the team.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Learning Curve is led by a team of three people with strong roots in their respective fields of Preschool Operations, Finance and Strategy and Marketing and Content.<\/p>\n<p>I started my career into the field of\u00a0education around 2 decades ago with IIT\u00a0\u2013\u00a0Prep and MBA\u00a0Prep. Preschool\u00a0happened to around a decade ago after having run a Euro Kids\u00a0Centre, being the brand manager for Podar Jumbo Kids,\u00a0expanding their reach\u00a0across West and South boundaries.<\/p>\n<p>It was 6 years ago that I discussed the idea of bringing\u00a0world class infrastructure and curriculum\u00a0to India and have a product commonly called the FULL DAY SCHOOL in Singapore in form of value added daycare to the indian Market to my fast friend\u00a0<strong>Mr. Emron Samuel<\/strong>\u00a0who then was exploring entrepreneurial venture post his long stint as Head of Sales at Standard Chartered Mutual Funds. \u00a0A Chartered Accountant by Qualification, Mr. Emron has always been an\u00a0authority\u00a0in the field of Treasury and Mutual Funds.\u00a0He has\u00a0worked with the biggies like JM Financial, ANZ Grindlays (later Standard Chartered Mutual Fund) and Tata Mutual Fund to his credit.<\/p>\n<p>As he always states &#8211;\u00a0\u201cTwo men into this preschool business would be a disaster\u201d, introduced us to our\u00a0third partner\u00a0<strong>Ms. Swati Bhatt<\/strong>\u00a0who had a long\u00a0nurtured dream of having a preschool that fits every mothers demand for having the best in class\u00a0education and quality service to their little ones while they were meeting targets at work.\u00a0With a Post Graduate Degree in Marketing and HR, Ms. Swati has been a successful\u00a0Trainer and Marketer with Godrej &amp; Boyce\u00a0before she took a\u00a0sabbatical to nurture her toddler\u00a0daughter. Prior to The Learning\u00a0Curve, Ms. Swati was a Marketing Professional with Kotak Life Insurance. Being a qualified Instructional\u00a0Designer,\u00a0Swati successfully coordinates on the Curriculum Development and Teacher Training at The Learning\u00a0Curve.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Any message to the Working Parents?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>We have the best affordable combination of school + daycare and with long hours 12 hours shift as well.
