My journey to motherhood was of 7 long years. Being a case of unidentifiable infertility, I went through some 7 IVFs s and other infertility treatments.<\/p>\n
I went through infertility treatments because I wanted to. I did everything happily not for society but for myself. Although I know motherhood is not the only thing in life. It\u2019s a part of your life, an important part but it\u2019s not that you can’t survive without it.<\/p>\n
The journey to motherhood was not easy. With all the physical pain you go through and the mental disturbance (rather a lot of mental disturbance I should say), it is very important to be in healthy surroundings. Your family plays very important role in all this. And I am blessed with such a family.<\/p>\n
From 48-49 kgs to 70 now, at times I hate myself. But whenever I look at my baby I don’t regret anything. Neither my weight nor the pain I had gone through.<\/p>\n
All through this I understood one thing and that is – being a mother is amazing but that’s not the only thing u aim for in your life. You should feel happy under your skin and you should do whatever you want to do happily. Not under pressure or for society or for anyone else. It should be only for you. If you want to do it then go for it or else leave it.<\/p>\n
Today, I do follow diet ( with lots of cheating \ud83d\ude42 ). I do exercises (irregularly \ud83d\ude42 ). And I must tell you that I did try to go back to what I was before motherhood. \u00a0But now I’m happy with what I am. I just want to be healthy now.<\/p>\n
I want to share this message with all moms that – Infertility is treated as a disease in our community. Motherhood is amazing but if you don\u2019t become a mother, it\u2019s Okie. That’s not the only thing in life. People should treat this topic sensitively. Woman who goes through this is indeed very strong to select this path to overcome infertility but she need strong support to stand with her. She needs everyone\u2019s help to overcome this phase mentally. I know physical and financial state matters a lot but her mental state is usually ignored. And that’s where she needs her friends, her family the most.<\/p>\n
