It is so easy to make and little ones can play with it over and over again!<\/p>\n<p><strong>Aim of the Activity<\/strong>: This puzzle is best suited for toddlers and preschoolers. It helps children in identification of colours and shapes, aids hand-eye coordination and improves concentration.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Materials Required<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Cardboard sheet &#8211; 2 of equal size<\/li>\n<li>Bottle caps &#8211; as many as the number of puzzle pieces you plan to make. I used 4.<\/li>\n<li>Colour Paper<\/li>\n<li>Hobby Knife<\/li>\n<li>Scissors<\/li>\n<li>Glue<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>How to Proceed<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>On the first cardboard sheet, draw basic shapes and cut them out using a hobby knife. Keep aside the cut out pieces.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.proeves.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/06\/WhatsApp-Image-2017-06-29-at-13.48.15.jpeg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-2539\" src=\"http:\/\/www.proeves.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/06\/WhatsApp-Image-2017-06-29-at-13.48.15-225x300.jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"225\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.proeves.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/06\/WhatsApp-Image-2017-06-29-at-13.48.15-225x300.jpeg 225w, https:\/\/www.proeves.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/06\/WhatsApp-Image-2017-06-29-at-13.48.15-768x1024.jpeg 768w, https:\/\/www.proeves.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/06\/WhatsApp-Image-2017-06-29-at-13.48.15.jpeg 960w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 225px) 100vw, 225px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Trim out the excess from the cardboard and make it a proper square or rectangle. Cut the second piece of cardboard sheet to size, to match the first sheet.<\/p>\n<p>Stick coloured paper on the second piece of cardboard exactly below the cutout of the first cardboard sheet. Blue below the triangle cutout, yellow below the square cut out, red below the round cutout and green below the rectangle cutout.<\/p>\n<p>Stick corresponding coloured papers onto the cutout pieces as well.<\/p>\n<p>Stick the two cardboard sheets together and decorate with a border of coloured paper to cover the seams.<\/p>\n<p>Stick bottle caps on the cutout pieces after sticking on the coloured paper.I used Feviquick here.<\/p>\n<p>Allow everything to dry up for a few minutes and then fit the pieces into the slots.<\/p>\n<p>Voila!
