It could be sheer dislike and monotony associated with work, escalating psychological exertion, need for a long break with nothing to worry about and relax under the sun smiling to the beach. Yet another and the most common reason for leaving work is marriage or child birth. In our culture, it is still not acceptable to leave the baby at a daycare\/ nanny support. However, after one&#8217;s long break, certainly, there is a time when one tends to return to work and find an identity for herself.<\/div>\n<div>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.proeves.com\/blog\/index.php\/2016\/06\/30\/why-is-participation-of-women-in-workforce-in-india-dropping\/\">The labour force participation rate of women has been falling<\/a>\u00a0\u2013 from 37 percent in 2004-05 to 29 percent in 2009-10. Its imperative for women to restart their career not only for their family but for the country as well. I<strong>f India can increase women\u2019s labour force participation by 10 percentage points (68 million more women) by 2025, India could increase its GDP by 16 percent<\/strong>.\u00a0There are several opportunities right under your nose other than your old job.\u00a0<strong>Let\u2019s bring the hidden artist inside you back to life<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Well, it could be anything. You could be a singer, a dancer or a painter. Why not try art classes or dance classes. Moms are the best teachers. Teaching children could be the best thing to do. It not only is a good income but what\u2019s better than passing the talent you have to the young kids.<\/p>\n<p><strong>How about starting your very own\u00a0lunchbox\u00a0service?\u00a0<\/strong>Because you are the master chef of your house and nothing tastes better than \u201c<em>maa ke haath ka khana<\/em>\u201d. This could be the best income for you if you love cooking. You could experiment and learn new recipes also.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Work from home &#8211;\u00a0<\/strong>It\u2019s the digital world. You aren\u2019t anymore required to do a\u00a09am to 4pm\u00a0boring job. There are so many companies offering jobs to freelancers, be it any profession. This way you get to pursue your dream career which you always wanted to.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Start a business &#8211; Q<\/strong>ualifications and degrees are not always necessary to earn a good income. Besides cooking you can start your own handicraft business or a garment designing business. It can be anything you love or have knowledge about.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Be the designer or the make-up artist that you already are &#8211;\u00a0<\/strong>Because we women are the best dressed people mankind has ever seen. Imagine what guys would look like if it hadn\u2019t been you to help them choose outfits for their wardrobe. If you love doing make-up and hairstyles, it\u2019s now time to make everyone else look drop dead gorgeous. Become\u00a0a designer, create your own brand or start salon services at home. All this while you still continue to look after your family.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Get into Teaching &#8211;<\/strong>\u00a0One of the interesting option is to teach, though it sounds old fashioned it is indeed just awesome. Truthfully it\u2019s just beneficial for us. Teach whatever you have learnt, it need not be just the basic subjects in primary schools.
