Dads today are not only taking a more active role in caring for their children and helping out the mothers around the house, they want to be involved in every aspect of their child’s life. Be it helping with homework, or making breakfast, or taking time off from work to attend a PTA meeting, they are eager to divide parenting responsibilities equally. Meet three such dads.

When Habeeb and his wife, Anju, who have two children, decided that they did not want any more children, he underwent a vasectomy in the interest of family planning instead of his wife. His reason behind doing so was in the benefit of his wife. As vasectomy is a simple procedure, which requires local anesthesia whereas tubectomy is much more complicated and involves an operation. Habeeb shared this news on his facebook profile in an eye-opening post. His post became viral for its honest and incredibly insightful description of the procedure, making him a celebrity overnight.

He wanted to give him all the love he never received from his parents. However, Aditya hadn’t yet reached the legal age of 30, neither was he married to adopt a child according to Indian legalities. He had to fought a year long battle with the system but later his perseverance paid off.
